Job description
Role: Business Development Executive

We are looking for a dynamic and well-connected Regional Esports Community Analyst to drive expansion in the South East Asia (SEA) region. The company is a fast‑growing esports tournament hosting and engagement platform. The company is building a monetization infrastructure for the esports industry. We work with Tier 2 tournament operators who have access to great teams and can run amazing tournaments, but struggle to get sponsorship and need help monetizing their tournaments by enabling betting on those tournaments.

Location: Candidate must be based in a South East Asian country (e.g., Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand).

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and connect with Tournament Operators (TOs) in SEA across multiple esports titles (e.g., PUBG, Free Fire, Valorant, COD Mobile, etc.)
  • Onboard TOs to the platform and guide them through setup, event creation, and match management features
  • Develop long‑term relationships with TOs, gaming communities, and influencers
  • Work closely with the marketing and product team to ensure user feedback is captured and acted upon
  • Represent the company at regional online/offline gaming events or community activations
  • Monitor TO activity on the platform and help optimize their tournament performance and growth
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in esports community management, partnerships, or business development
  • Strong knowledge of SEA esports ecosystems, games, and regional TO networks
  • Fluent in English and at least one SEA local language (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Thai)
  • Existing network of TOs, clan leaders, or gaming communities
  • Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills
  • Passionate gamer with firsthand experience in competitive gaming or event organization
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple TOs in different countries
  • Tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new platforms/tools
  • A people person who enjoys engaging with communities and solving problems
