Job summary

A growing business development company in Indonesia is looking for a Business Development (BD) professional to expand its offline partnership network by onboarding local shops. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years of experience in Business Development or Sales. Key responsibilities include managing partner onboarding processes and maintaining strong relationships. Strong communication skills and fluency in English are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Field Operations.
  • Experience in FnB, retail, or FMCG is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) in professional settings.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and convince warung and local shop owners to join the WaoW partnership network.
  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including placement of WaoW machines at partner locations.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with shop owners and local partners.
  • Prepare and submit regular field reports covering activities, progress, challenges, and partner feedback.

Job description

As a Business Development (BD), you will be responsible for expanding WaoW’s offline partnership network by onboarding warungs and local shops in the Karawang area. This role focuses on field acquisition, partner relationship management, and ensuring smooth operational readiness through machine placement and branding installation to support business growth.

Responsibilities

Identify, approach, and convince warung and local shop owners to join the WaoW partnership network

Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including placement of WaoW machines at partner locations

Coordinate and ensure proper installation of WaoW signage and branding materials at partner outlets

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with shop owners and local partners

Monitor partner performance and operational readiness to ensure smooth daily operations

Coordinate closely with internal teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, and Online Operations, to support partner activation

Prepare and submit regular field reports covering activities, progress, challenges, and partner feedback

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in any major

0–2 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Field Operations (internship experience is acceptable)

Experience in FnB, retail, or FMCG is a strong advantage

Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills

Comfortable working in a field-based, mobile, and fast-paced environment

Based in or willing to work in Karawang

Able to work independently, target-oriented, and proactive

Fluent in English (spoken and written) in professional settings
