Position Overview

RecruitGo is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Bali. You will manage financial records and projections for multiple entities across different jurisdictions, including local operations in Bali and international companies in Singapore. This role offers a semi-remote setup (2–3 days per week at the client site in Seminyak, with the rest from home) and the chance to support dynamic businesses in the fashion and investment sectors.

The main client is a growing swimwear and resortwear company with wholesale and retail operations in Bali and abroad. Other clients include investment holding companies in Indonesia and Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities using Xero, Dext, FathomHQ, and other tools.
  • Record and categorize daily transactions (income, expenses, assets, liabilities).
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts (Cash Flow Frog) and financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and closing procedures.
  • Handle tax (PPH21, PPH23, PPH25, PPH29) and BPJS contributions, coordinating with tax professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Streamline and improve bookkeeping processes.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (preferably with startups/SMEs).
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian GAAP and IFRS.
  • Proficiency in Xero (and related apps) plus MS Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple entities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Nice-to-Haves
  • Familiarity with tools like FathomHQ.
  • Knowledge of international tax regulations, consolidation, and multi-currency transactions.
  • Certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper, Xero Certification).
