Main Responsibilities
Responsible for operating & maintaining the utility i.e. electrical power facilities (upstream and downstream), biomass & gas facility system, compressed air system, yards work, powder detergent processing capability & improvement, calibrations & NDT works on detergent powder making facilities, MHE rentals & supports and building facility maintenance, plus represent factory as SUIT team for NSD innovation plans and project.
Responsible for environmental performance control, e.g., water supply, air emissions, gas consumptions, electrical use/consumption and any other key utilities. Occasionally, due to nature of project (part of innovation and savings), lead certain related projects.
Report to NSD Manufacturing & Eng. Manager and will work together with related peers such as Asst. production & process manager, asst. NSD maintenance eng. manager and Sulphonation operation asst. manager, SHE officer and R/D team member and also work together with global or SEAA expertise team for…
Candidate Criteria
Experience & Qualification
The candidate shall come from a factory with >5 years of experience, both in engineering, processing, production or safety in factory.
He/she must hold a bachelor’s degree in chemical/mechanical/electrical engineering or related specific school of engineering.
He/she must be able to speak English (writing & conversation) at basic to moderate level of acceptance.
Skill
Must be familiar with standard office desktop application (Ms-Office) and graphics or design CAD is an advantage.
Must be well understanding the basic factory cost and spending and capex management, which are required to manage spending and capex.
