Assistant Manager Industrial & Employee Relation

About the role We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Industrial & Employee Relation team at PT Lotte Shopping Indonesia. In this full‑time role, you will maintain positive employee relations and ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations at our Jakarta Timur office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exit interviews for resigning employees.
• Develop, update, and socialize company regulations.
• Ensure compliance with labour regulations and policies.
• Enforce work discipline and handle employee violations.
• Maintain a conducive work relationship through mediation and counseling.
• Manage relations and communication with the labour union.
• Build good relationships with government agencies and external parties related to employment matters.
• Develop internal communication and employee engagement programs.
• Organize internal company events and internal publications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Law.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial/employee relations.
• In‑depth understanding of labour laws and regulations (Manpower Law, Government Regulations, and Collective Labour Agreements).
• Skilled in handling employee disciplinary cases and violations (case handling & disciplinary action).
• Ability to conduct mediation and employee counseling to maintain a harmonious work relationship.
• Expertise in negotiation and communication with labour unions or employee representatives.
