Overview

The Assistant Director of HR at AYANA MidPlaza, Jakarta, is an essential leadership role responsible for managing the hotel's human resources functions. You will collaborate closely with the Director of HR to develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall business objectives while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and employee relations. Ensure compliance with company policies and local labor laws, while also managing employee welfare and motivation programs.
  • Proactively address HR-related issues, conduct performance evaluations, and implement employee engagement initiatives. Monitor HR metrics to drive strategic decision-making and improve operations, and ensure that the hotel's operational needs are met through effective workforce planning.
  • Maintain comprehensive employee records, respond to employee inquiries, and ensure that all HR documentation is meticulously managed.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff to create a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Psychology or Human Resources Management
  • At least 3 years in similar roles & positions
  • HR certifications (such as SHRM or CIPD) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in organizational development, change management, or a related field, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of organizational development principles, theories, and best practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex organizational issues and develop data-driven solutions
