Job description

Develop and execute asset management and maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability, reliability, and utilization across rental operations.

Oversee the entire lifecycle of heavy equipment assets, including procurement planning, commissioning, operation, maintenance, refurbishment, and disposal.

Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment readiness for rental.

Establish and monitor maintenance standards, SOPs, KPIs, and maintenance budgets to control costs and improve operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with HSE standards, statutory regulations, and OEM requirements for all equipment.

Manage equipment assets, including maintenance, overhaul, and replacement planning.

Lead and develop maintenance, engineering, and asset management teams across multiple sites or depots.

Collaborate closely with operations, rental, commercial, procurement, and finance teams to support rental demand and customer commitments.

Monitor and analyze equipment utilization, availability, downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance costs to drive continuous improvement.

Oversee workshop operations, field maintenance, spare parts management, and vendor/contractor performance.

Implement and optimize for maintenance planning, asset tracking, and reporting.

Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations to top management on fleet condition, risks, lifecycle costs, and investment planning.
