Responsibility:

This position is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth within the designated area. It involves leading and managing a team of sales supervisors and representatives, ensuring achievement of sales targets, expanding market presence, and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and distribution partners. The role also includes developing fundamental business processes. The Area Sales Manager acts as a strategic link between the field team and upper management, providing insights, reports, and recommendations to support business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any major, with a preference for management-related fields.
  • At least 7 years of experience in selling FMCG products.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Area Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager in an FMCG company, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Organizational commitment: ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and develop others.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to develop relationships and interact with all levels in a highly diverse, multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the area as needed and be placed anywhere according to company needs.
  • Willing to be based in Palembang.
