What is the role about?

As Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating Endress+Hauser Indonesia's regional growth and operational excellence. This position is designed to strengthen our branch leadership capacity by driving strategic initiatives, enhancing customer engagement, and fostering team development across the assigned region. You will act as a catalyst for transformation, supporting existing branch leadership, identifying new business opportunities, and championing continuous improvement. Your leadership will help shape a high‑performance culture that aligns with our global standards while remaining deeply rooted in local market dynamics.

Which tasks will you perform?
You Will
  • Reporting directly to Sales Director, support and collaborate with the Branch Manager in leading daily operations and business development activities, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Drive Area Sales Performance by identifying new business opportunities, expanding customer networks, and elevating customer satisfaction through value‑driven engagement.
  • Initiate and execute growth activities, including networking events, customer gatherings, and localized marketing initiatives that unlock new business potential and strengthen brand presence.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the Area Sales team to cultivate a high‑performance culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional development.
  • Coordinate cross‑functionally with sales, service, and product teams to deliver integrated solutions that address customer needs and reinforce Endress+Hauser’s value proposition.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor movements, and customer feedback to uncover strategic opportunities and inform agile decision‑making.
  • Ensure operational integrity by upholding corporate processes, business ethics, and company values in all branch activities.
  • Champion continuous improvement by contributing to the optimization of sales and operational processes, embedding innovation and efficiency into the branch’s DNA.
What do we expect from you?

  • Hold a degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Have solid experience in sales, business development, or branch management within the process automation, instrumentation, or industrial sector.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
