About The Role

We’re building a strong talent pool for future leadership in our commercial team across Sumatra. As an Area Manager – General Trade, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving sales performance, expanding market coverage, and leading a high-performing team in the region. This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone passionate about growth and execution in the FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the Sumatra market
• Manage and grow relationships with general trade outlets (e.g., traditional stores, wholesalers)
• Drive achievement of sales targets and promotional goals
• Identify high-potential areas and accounts to expand market reach
• Ensure effective product distribution, visibility, and pricing compliance
• Lead trade negotiations and build long-term partnerships
• Coach and manage a team of Sales Representatives to deliver results

Who We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience managing General Trade accounts in FMCG
• Proven track record in sales execution and team leadership

• Proficiency in MS Excel and managing sales budgets
