As Key Account Manager, you will act as the key interface between your clients and the business, managing strategic 4PL accounts. You’ll oversee end-to-end service delivery, ensuring clients receive integrated, efficient logistics solutions while driving growth and operational improvement.
- Build and strengthen relationships with senior decision-makers in your assigned 4PL accounts.
- Develop and deliver Key Account Plans that drive growth, retention, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage your portfolio performance and sales pipeline.
- Lead customer reviews, addressing challenges and implementing improvement actions.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, market shifts, and technology developments to provide strategic insight.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and manage account documentation.
- Support resolution of critical invoicing issues and work closely with Finance on receivables.
- Identify additional business opportunities within your portfolio and beyond.
- Deep understanding of 4PL operations and technology solutions.
- 10+ years’ experience in 3PL/4PL key account management, growing and retaining strategic accounts.
- Strong ability to create value for clients while balancing commercial objectives.
- Proven relationship-building and influencing skills at senior levels.
- Organised, structured, and results-driven with excellent project management abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills-clear, confident, and professional.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and support team success.
- £60,000 salary
- Hybrid working: 3 days from home
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
