A leading Private Equity firm is seeking a Director of Technology Transformation to lead technology initiatives across portfolio companies. This role offers a competitive salary up to £230k and a hybrid working arrangement. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in technology leadership within financial services, advanced stakeholder management skills, and a strong technical background in modern software engineering. As the Director of Technology Transformation you will lead the design, delivery and governance of various technology transformations across multiple portfolio companies and partners. You'll collaborate with portfolio companies' CTOs and COOs to define technology roadmaps that enable business growth and operational efficiency, providing strategic guidance architecture, engineering practices and emerging technologies, ensuring solutions are both innovative and robust.
You will remain hands-on, contributing to complex design and development efforts where technical leadership and troubleshooting are required and oversee engineering work including POCs, technical investigations, performance diagnostics and deep dives into codebases to validate and accelerate technology solutions, overseeing multiple engineering teams and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
As a senior member of the leadership team you'll collaborate with your peers, key client account contacts and support business development efforts by shaping technical proposals, presenting to senior stakeholders and representing the company at external conferences and forums.
There's a hybrid work from home policy with three days a week in the London office.
