Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider.

We are currently recruiting for a Reactive Drainage Engineer to join their team.

The main purpose of this reactive drainage engineer role is to clear blockages and ensure free‑flowing drainage systems using HPWJ, to diagnose and resolve drainage issues efficiently.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £15ph plus enhanced overtime depending on experience.

• Use of company vehicle for commuting to and from Stockport.
• Competitive hourly rate of pay (minimum 45 hours per week) with overtime available during the week and weekends.
• Overtime on site paid at time and a half and travelling paid at time.

This role is full‑time and permanent. The hours of work will be 07:00 - 17:00 10 hour shifts.

• High‑pressure water jetting – clearing blockages and ensuring free‑flowing drainage systems.
• Fault investigation – diagnosing and resolving drainage issues efficiently.
• CCTV drain surveys – using camera technology to assess pipe conditions and identify defects.

• Experience in reactive drainage work is essential – this is not a trainee role.
• Full, valid UK driving licence (minor points accepted).
• A flexible approach to working hours, including participation in an on‑call rota (approximately one week in six).
• Must be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
