Hello, we’re Reach. Every day, our trusted news, stories and content connect with millions of people where they live – on their social feed, a neighbourhood newsstand or their local community – and what they love. We’re home to more than 120 brands, from household names like the Mirror, Express, Daily Star and Daily Record, to local titles such as MyLondon, BelfastLive, and the Manchester Evening News, and brands making a splash in the US like the Irish Star. We're Britain's and Ireland’s largest commercial news publisher, reaching around 70 % of the UK’s online population, 10 % of the US online population and over 100 million social followers worldwide.
As a modern media organisation, we’re much more than just news. We need a wide range of people and skills to serve diverse audiences, customers and communities. We’ll help you build a career that works with your life, while giving you the space to create and grow. Every background is respected and every day is a day to explore.
You’ll source and edit high‑quality, social‑first content that aligns with our brand and editorial vision, turning long‑form footage into snappy, platform‑native edits, recording punchy voice‑overs and shooting original footage on location. You’ll use analytics and AI tools to optimise content creation, respond to breaking news and deliver a high volume of quick‑turnaround videos that resonate with audiences. You’ll collaborate closely with editorial teams, ensuring every piece meets legal and copyright standards, and help grow our reach through engaging, trend‑driven storytelling. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an inclusive, forward‑thinking newsroom that reflects the diverse communities we serve.
We’re looking for a creative, social media–savvy video producer with strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook and X. Strong planning, communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to fast‑changing digital trends. A strong knowledge of media law is required.
