Are you a creative storyteller who lives and breathes social media?

We’re looking for a dynamic Social Video Producer to craft standout, high‑impact news related videos that capture attention and spark engagement across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and beyond.

This role is home & hub linked to our Canary Wharf hub, so you must be located in or around London.

You will be covering a Sunday – Saturday rota between 6 am – 11 pm, so flexibility is key.

What will the role involve?

You’ll source and edit high‑quality, social‑first content that aligns with our brand and editorial vision, turning long‑form footage into snappy, platform‑native edits, recording punchy voice‑overs and shooting original footage on location. You’ll use analytics and AI tools to optimise content creation, respond to breaking news and deliver a high volume of quick‑turnaround videos that resonate with audiences. You’ll collaborate closely with editorial teams, ensuring every piece meets legal and copyright standards, and help grow our reach through engaging, trend‑driven storytelling. What you'll need to succeed

We’re looking for a creative, social media–savvy video producer with strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook and X. You’ll have proven experience creating engaging content in a newsroom or breaking‑news environment, and be proficient in Premiere Pro (or similar). Strong planning, communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to fast‑changing digital trends. A strong knowledge of media law is required.
