Job Description:
The Role
As an Associate Director in our AMA team, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering large, complex client engagements, operating at board level and the level below
- Managing KPMG teams on client engagements, within the AMA team, and across the business
- Focusing on deploying asset management capabilities for clients and within KPMG
- Managing the development and use of Asset Management tools and methodologies
- Engaging with global teams, including the Global Asset Management community
- Managing relationships with key client contacts and ensuring responsive service
- Overseeing client engagement teams and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Financial management, including fee notes and cost updates
- Ensuring compliance with KPMG procedures
- Staying updated on global Asset Management trends
- Supporting KPMG AMA brand development through thought leadership
- Identifying opportunities for additional value and new assignments
- Assisting in client proposals and market propositions
- Coaching and mentoring staff
- Role modeling the firm's values
The Person
We seek a candidate who can work efficiently, bringing practical solutions across our services and sectors.
You should have experience in delivering complex engagements, managing client relationships, and producing high-quality outputs. A background in asset management, infrastructure projects, or business management within asset-intensive organizations is preferred.
- Experience in realizing strategic asset management value at an enterprise level
- Experience engaging with Board-level representatives
- Understanding of infrastructure operating models and asset management processes
- Experience with asset lifecycle decision-making and planning
- Risk assessment skills at service/network and asset levels
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of asset management information systems
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy Transition, Natural Resources, or Utilities sectors
- Proven client relationship management skills
- Ability to develop relationships across all levels
- Teamworking skills
- Advisory, consulting, or assurance experience
