Night shifts

Essential experience: Nursing home experience, PCS system, medication management, strong leadership skills, excellent understanding of dementia and complex care.

Other required skills:

Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and care planning skills.

Additional experience in syringe driver use, catheterisation, blood tests, PEG feeding, stoma care, and a good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty safeguards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Medication administration and care planning
• Providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to residents
• Maintaining safeguarding principles
• Taking responsibility as Nurse in Charge during shifts
• Team management and shift planning
• Infection prevention and control
• Liaising with GPs and multidisciplinary teams
• Upholding clinical governance standards

About you:

Essential qualifications and skills:

• A UK-recognised Nursing qualification
• A valid UK NMC PIN and registration as an RGN, RNLD, or RMN
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and perform physical tasks
