Care Assistant - Newport

Location: Newport & Surrounding Areas

Hours: Full time/ Part time/ Flexible shifts

Pay Rates: £13-£13-50 per hour

Responsibilities
  • As a Care Assistant, you'll support clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
  • Assisting with washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner
  • Supporting mobility needs, including use of hoists, walking aids, or transfers
  • Preparing nutritious meals and snacks based on dietary needs and preferences
  • Providing light housekeeping, such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying
  • Building meaningful relationships through friendly conversation and emotional reassurance
  • Communicating with the office and other team members to ensure the best possible care
