Grade UE06: £34,132- £39,355 per annum (based on a 35-hour work week)
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week (35 salaried hours + 2.5 hours weekly contractual overtime)
Working Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm (times TBC with successful candidate)
Fixed-term: 14-month Maternity Cover
Our nurses are required to cover one weekend shift per month, paid as overtime
We have an exciting opportunity for an RCVS registered veterinary nurse to join our dedicated orthopaedic nursing team at the Hospital for Small Animals.
The Orthopaedic Surgery Service at HfSA delivers world-leading care for companion animals, with cutting-edge treatments for joint diseases, fractures, and lameness investigations. Our team includes RCVS and European board-certified Specialists working alongside orthopaedic specialist nurses. The team also collaborates closely with the REPAIR Centre to optimize assessments and postoperative rehabilitation.
Extensive training will be provided, with opportunities to shadow experienced nursing staff across all areas of the hospital.
