A leading healthcare trust in the United Kingdom is seeking an individual for a role within Acute Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical patients on post-take ward rounds, participating in admissions, developing procedural skills, and engaging in quality improvement initiatives. Experience in Acute Medicine within the NHS is essential. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a diverse team of professionals and contribute to improving patient care.
The Acute Medical Unit (AMU) at Aintree comprises a 13-spaced trolley assessment area (MAB/FAB) for Acute Medicine Assessment, 2 side rooms and a 4-bed High Care Area. There is also a drop-off bay for initial patient assessment and our AEC (ambulatory emergency care) which includes 4 assessment rooms, a procedure room and a treatment bay/hub. A co-located 25-bed short stay area (AMU 2) provides additional capacity.
