Applications are invited to apply for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The Senior Clinical Fellow in conjunction with the ED consultants and nurses would be expected to manage the wide variety of acute adult and paediatric emergencies presenting to the department. They would be expected to provide support to junior colleagues.

The only Emergency Department in the Milton Keynes District currently serves a population of over 200,000. This busy teaching hospital is affiliated to the University of Oxford, Health Education Thames Valley (HETV) and the University of Buckingham Medical School. There are ample opportunities for career development, teaching experience and research.
We can offer successful candidates a variety of training opportunities: monthly Middle Grade Doctor teaching, simulation training, airway and internal life support courses, and opportunities to get involved with management and research.
Milton Keynes University Hospital, in partnership with the University of Buckingham, is a University Teaching Hospital with a “Good” rating from the CQC.
As a medium sized general hospital we provide a full range of services including emergency, maternity, paediatrics, neonatology, specialist surgical care and diagnostics. Recent developments include a new Radiotherapy Centre (opened January 2025), Community Diagnostic Centre, Oak Wards medical wards, and a Women and Children’s Centre (open by 2030).
The duties of the Senior Clinical Fellow doctor are those of a doctor functioning at the middle grade level within the department. Primary duties include:
Qualified GPs with an interest in Emergency Medicine.
Experience in adult and paediatric emergency medicine management and teaching is desirable.
