Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: London (Field-Based Across Greater London)
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (Dependent on Experience)
We are currently working with a well-established fire and security solutions provider who is looking to add an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to play a key role in delivering first-class service and maintenance support across a variety of client sites in London.
As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding a wide range of systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control. The role covers both commercial and residential properties across Greater London.
- Service and maintain fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
- Diagnose and rectify faults quickly and effectively
- Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
- Ensure all work complies with relevant standards, including BS 5839
- Maintain professional communication with clients on-site
- Complete accurate job reports and service documentation
- Adhere to company procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Proven experience as a Fire and Security Service Engineer
- Strong knowledge of systems such as Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, Honeywell, or similar
- Experience working with both fire and security systems is essential
- Relevant qualifications (FIA, ECS/CSCS card)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Competitive salary between £38,000 - £45,000, depending on experience
