Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Electronic Technician in Farnborough, UK. Key responsibilities include precision crimping, wiring, soldering, and inspecting components. The ideal candidate will have IPC 620 certification and proven skills in assembly and attention to detail. Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00. Qualifications
- Experience in crimping, cabling, wiring, soldering, and electromechanical assembly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to high standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform precision crimping, wiring, and cable assembly according to standards.
- Conduct soldering tasks for electronic components to ensure high-quality connections.
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings accurately.
- Assemble and integrate electromechanical components.
- Test and inspect components to verify compliance with specifications.
Skills
Education
- Perform precision crimping, wiring, and cable assembly in accordance with company standards and engineering specifications
- Carry out soldering tasks for electronic components, ensuring reliable and high-quality connections
- Accurately read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
- Assemble and integrate electromechanical components
- Conduct testing and inspection of assembled components to verify compliance with specifications
- IPC 620 certified or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in cable and wiring assembly standards
- Proven experience in crimping, cabling, wiring, soldering, and electromechanical assembly
- Have strong attention to detail
- Work to high standards
- Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 16:00
- Friday, 08:00 – 13:00
