A modern university in England is seeking a part-time 3D CAD Technical Demonstrator to support students and staff in the 3D design process. The role requires proficiency in 3D CAD software, including SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD, alongside excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities include demonstrating software, preparing materials, and ensuring efficient facility bookings. We have an exciting opportunity for an individual skilled in 3D CAD to join our Technical and Simulation Resources team. The purpose of the role is to provide the highest levels of service to staff and students during the 3D digital design process. You must have excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of common 3D CAD packages such as SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD and be familiar with creating and manipulating files such as STL. You must be able to demonstrate software packages to a broad audience from expert to beginner, providing assistance with the successful transition to production machines such as CNC and 3D printers.
