Overview

Technical Project Manager — Sturminster Newton, Dorset

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious company in a senior position. The company are involved with the Design and Manufacture of a range of Test and Inspection Equipment, for customers from various sectors.

Salary & Benefits: Highly Attractive Salary + 4 day week + WFH + Rewards Scheme + Benefits

Responsibilities

• Running projects - The company specialise in designing bespoke testing systems for clients in sectors such as Defence and Transport.
• Ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget.
• Dealing directly with the customers, to overcome any issues.
• Meet customers on site where required (London, Midlands, Scottish Borders) - 1 day spent out of office every fortnight, on average. For Critical Design Reviews and Site Acceptance Tests.
• Short turn around projects - 12-24 weeks.
• Managing multiple projects at a time. Once fully fledged this will be 4 or 5.
• Work efficiently with the rest of the PM team, 5 other project managers.
• Scheduling workload and resources, as required.

The Candidate

• BSc in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Prince2 - Big advantage
• Senior Electrical OR Electronics Design Engineer - who wants to move into PM. Or someone already doing this, needs to be an engineer though!
• Being able to communicate with all types of people - Technical and Non technical.
• Experience within the Test/Measurement industry - important.
