Job summary
A leading tax recruitment firm is seeking a Personal Tax Senior in Harrogate for a part-time role (3-4 days/week). Responsibilities include managing a client portfolio and preparing personal tax returns. Candidates should have strong personal tax experience and ideally be ATT qualified. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable firm in a flexible work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Personal Tax with proven results.
- Previous role in a practice environment.
- Experience with high net worth individuals (HNWI) is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients as the main point of contact.
- Prepare and review personal tax returns accurately.
- Provide training and support to junior staff members.
- Identify tax planning opportunities for clients.
- Assist partners in tax consulting work as necessary.

Education
Personal Tax Senior (Part Time) — Harrogate. Circa £32,000 - £38,000 (Full Time Equivalent).
Clark Wood, accountancy practice and tax recruitment specialists, are working with a leading independent Yorkshire-based firm of chartered accountants to add a Personal Tax Senior to their team in Harrogate. This role is ideally suited for someone looking for part-time hours (ideally 3 or 4 days per week).
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-regarded and established firm in Harrogate as a Personal Tax Senior.
- Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
- Preparation and review of personal tax returns
- Providing guidance, training and support to junior staff
- Identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts
- Assisting the partners with tax consulting work relevant to HNWI and trusts when required
- Strong Personal Tax experience within a practice environment
- ATT qualified or qualified by experience
