A regional accounting firm in Wigan is seeking an experienced Personal Tax Manager to oversee a team and manage a diverse client portfolio. Responsibilities include leading tax compliance efforts, managing tax returns, and providing advisory services. Candidates should have strong personal tax experience and ideally hold a CTA Qualification. The role offers competitive salary and benefits.
Personal Tax Manager – Wigan – Circa £40,000 - £45,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Accountancy Practice and Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable and leading regional firm of chartered accountants who are looking to add an experienced and driven Personal Tax Manager to the team in their Wigan office.
As a Personal Tax Manager you will form an integral part of the firm’s tax offering and will work closely with the Partners. You will have responsibility for overseeing Tax Seniors and Trainees within the team which will see you reviewing their work and providing support and guidance to them as necessary.
You will work with a diverse array of clients and will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently. You will have responsibility for undertaking compliance work for the more complex clients within the portfolio. The majority of your day to day role will be focused to the review of tax returns prepared by other members of the team.
There will also be an element of advisory work involved in the role, with you providing guidance and tax planning services to clients.
