Overview

Mixed Tax Assistant Manager - Cardiff. Tax Recruitment Specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading regional firm of accountants & tax advisers who are keen to recruit a Mixed Tax Supervisor/ Assistant Manager to join the growing tax consultancy team in their Cardiff office.

Responsibilities

• Preparing complex personal, partnership, trust and corporation tax returns; reviewing tax returns prepared by other members of the team; supporting the team with other tax filings throughout the year including P11d’s, PSAs, ATED, Form 42 and EMI40 returns.
• Providing tax enquiry work and tax advisory support on corporate and property transactions, advising on business restructures and providing specific tax advice on a range of matters such as clearances, share schemes, SEIS/EIS investments, exit planning as well as R&D and capital allowances. Private client advice would centre on tax residence status, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and trusts.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be Newly CTA or ACA Qualified and will have relevant managerial skills as well as sound mixed tax knowledge and technical expertise.
• Ideally you will be CTA / ACCA / ACA / ATT Qualified with relevant tax experience within a practice environment.

Additional information

The local Cardiff office is commutable from areas over South Wales; Cardiff Gate, Newport, Swansea, Bristol, Pontypridd, Port Talbot etc.
