Skills
We are looking for a senior architect to drive the technology strategy for our broadcast systems, with a focus on Media Asset Management (MAM) and Production Asset Management (PAM).
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps for broadcast systems, aligning with business objectives.
- Define costed technology strategies that balance innovation, performance, and budget.
- Lead project initiation and design, creating high‑level designs, BoMs, and guiding early‑phase architecture.
- Deep knowledge of system design and integration for MAM and PAM platforms, ensuring interoperability.
- Design and implement cloud and infrastructure solutions, leveraging AWS for scalability and resilience.
- Drive automation and deployment pipelines to reduce time‑to‑market.
- Collaborate on networking and connectivity to optimise cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Champion emerging AI‑driven solutions for media workflows.
- Strong proficiency in AWS architecture and services with hands‑on design experience.
- Previous experience delivering large projects and managing senior stakeholder expectations.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and automation frameworks.
- Deep understanding of databases, storage systems and data structures for high‑performance media workflows.
- Proven track record in metadata migration and schema design for broadcast or media systems.
- Solid networking knowledge, including IP protocols, routing and media transport standards.
- Extensive experience with MAM and PAM platforms and broadcast technology standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, influencing technology strategy and driving innovation.
