A global financial services firm in London seeks a Senior Network Engineer to transform network infrastructure and enhance security measures. The role involves implementing solutions, managing network systems, and ensuring security compliance. Candidates should have over 5 years of IT experience, especially with various network devices and protocols, along with strong problem-solving skills. This hybrid position calls for occasional office attendance and is geared towards dynamic professionals ready to maintain a global network.
Pacific Life is investing in its global network and security to support its digital transformation journey. As such, we are searching for a Senior Network Engineer to help transform our network and to protect our customers and brand. The Network Engineer will design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. This person will also collaborate with our corporate security team to design and build security controls to protect our environment. The successful candidate will have served in a similar role in a Fortune 500 environment and would have significant experience in supporting global networks.
This is a hybrid role with time working remotely, in office (Tower Bridge, London) and supporting data centers in Slough and Docklands. Therefore, close proximity to London and willingness to commute to London is a must.
There is a physical element to this job and the successful hire will be required to carry servers, run cables and work in a data center from time to time.
