An exciting opportunity is now available for a Platform Engineer to support a major Multi-Cloud Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiative, focused on enhancing and deploying a strategic enterprise backup solution across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments. This role is to transition from NetBackup to Commvault, helping define and implement a robust, cloud‑native backup strategy across multiple business units.

• Support the design and deployment of a Multi-Cloud BCP backup solution
• Replace NetBackup with Commvault across the enterprise
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to gather backup requirements (HR, Finance, Tech etc.)
• Help automate deployment and integrate systems like SAS, SnapLogic, ECP
• Build and optimise backup workflows across AWS and Azure

• Enterprise Backup: Strong experience with Commvault and/or NetBackup; familiar with AWS Backup, Azure Backup, and snapshot-based protection. Understanding of enterprise storage and archive strategies
• Automation & Scripting: Proficient in PowerShell (including VaporShell), some Python experience, and familiarity with automation pipelines
• Cloud Platforms: Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC) and hybrid cloud/on-premises environments
• Infrastructure as Code: Skilled with Terraform, Puppet for config management, and GitHub version control
• Operating Systems: Comfortable with Windows Server and Linux administration
