Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced paediatric Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to be our countywide clinical lead for speech, as well as hold a mixed community caseload in one of our locality teams. We are flexible on where the post will be based within the county.
The clinical lead will be proactive in reviewing and maintaining our service speech pathway, and will ensure the wider SaLT service are confidently applying it to their own caseloads. The post holder will form part of our children's SaLT leadership team and work alongside other clinical leads, team leads, and our operational lead.
The post holder will offer clinical supervision and/or line management across the service, as well as face-to-face second opinions as needed.
The post holder will work with the area team lead to establish their community caseload, which will include complex situations, and provide assessment and/or intervention to their caseload in line with our service offer. The community caseload can also include Dysphagia if the post holder has RCSLT competence and this is an area of interest for them.
