Barrett Contract Services are recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer (Maintenance) on behalf of a respected Fire Alarm and Electrical Contractor working across Kings Cross and London.
This is a maintenance-focused role carrying out installation, servicing, fault-finding, and commissioning of fire and security alarm systems across a range of commercial, residential, and public sites.
- Maintain, service, and repair fire & security alarm systems.
- Fault-find, test, and commission systems (addressable & conventional).
- Routine inspections in line with BS5839 & manufacturers\' standards.
- Install, connect, and programme panels, devices, sensors, and wiring.
- Provide reports, certificates, and technical support to clients.
- Attend callouts and travel across London sites.
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer (maintenance/service).
- Knowledge of panels such as Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Gent, Notifier.
- Familiar with BS5839 regulations.
- Full UK driving licence.
- FIA training, emergency lighting knowledge, London project experience.
