We are looking for a female care assistant to support older people in their own homes. Visits are mainly short “tea visits,” with occasional morning visits. A car and valid driving license are required.
Expected Hours: 10–15 per week
Schedule: Alternate weekends, weekdays negotiable, morning and tea calls
Work Location: Todmorden
- Personal care & medication reminders
- Meal prep and assistance with eating/drinking
- Companionship & conversation
- Accompanying clients to appointments and activities
- Shopping, household tasks, and prescription collection
- Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement due to personal care needs)
- Care experience preferred but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow care plans
- Mileage allowance (30p/mile)
- Minimum 1-hour visits
- 28 days holiday, pension, training & support
