This role is for a dedicated Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for the overall maintenance, repair and improvement of production machinery within a high-volume environment in the Derbyshire region. The successful candidate will ensure high levels of operational effectiveness.

Description
  • Perform regular inspections on production machinery to ensure optimal operation.
  • Execute timely repairs on faulty machinery to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to implement production efficiency improvements.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Document maintenance procedures and machinery audits.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Provide training to the production staff on machine operation and safety protocols.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

Monday - Friday-06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 Rotating

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer/Maintenance Technician should have:

  • A recognised Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
