A leading DAF truck dealer is seeking a Nightshift HGV Technician at their Coventry depot. The role involves servicing, diagnosing, and maintaining a variety of trucks. Ideal candidates will have experience in vehicle maintenance and a passion for training and development. - Ideally possesses a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Full UK driving licence required.

- Servicing and maintaining a variety of Trucks and Vehicles.
- Conducting fault diagnostics and repairs.
- Preparation for MOT and road testing vehicles when necessary.

We currently have a vacancy for a Nightshift HGV Technician in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks Depot in Coventry.

- You will have previous experience working as an HGV Technician / Mechanic within the HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, Heavy Plant, Car or an associated sector.
- Ideally have a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Or a time served HGV Technician.
- Ability to participate in breakdowns.
- Skills to follow company processes for completing all paperwork including accurate completion of job cards and service records.
- General level of computer literacy is advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
The HGV Technician role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Servicing and maintaining a wide variety of Trucks and Vehicles.
- Fault Diagnostics.
- MOT Preparation.
- Mechanical and Electrical repairs.
- Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer's procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
- Road test vehicle when required, subject to licence restrictions.
- Attend any technical or development training that is made available.
Week 1: Mon - Thurs 8pm to 7am. Week 2: Tues - Fri 8pm to 7am.
