A major healthcare provider in Wales is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality care to children and young people. The role requires a master's level qualification and expertise in mental health practices. Responsibilities include leadership within the clinical team, modelling best practices, and comprehensive assessment of young patients. Communication is a fundamental process to ensure continuity and high standards of care. It includes the sharing of ideas, information and feedback to empower patients/families of the young person and members of the health care team. The Advanced Nurse Practitioner must be able to provide and receive highly complex communication that may be of a sensitive nature and relate this to patients and relatives as well as communicate effectively with other staff members within the Health Board, external organisations and the general public.
