Job summary
A leading retail company in Dorchester is seeking a Retail Security Officer to ensure the safety of customers and staff. As a visible security presence, you will deter theft, monitor CCTV, and respond to incidents. The ideal candidate will possess a valid SIA License and have strong observational and communication skills. Qualifications
- Valid SIA License required for the role.
- Strong observational skills to identify suspicious behavior.
- Ability to handle difficult situations calmly.
Responsibilities
- Act as a visible security presence within the store.
- Conduct regular patrols of the store premises.
- Monitor CCTV and respond to suspicious activities.
- Liaise with store management to address security concerns.
- Assist customers with directions and queries.
