Job summary
A leading food delivery company in Warrington is seeking a skilled Class 2 HGV/Truck Driver to join their team. This position involves working a rolling 3-week rota with 12-hour shifts, either AM or PM. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of health and safety legislation, along with relevant driving experience. Responsibilities include ensuring vehicle safety and load security before departure, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and colleagues. This role is perfect for someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys the road.
Qualifications
- Full licence relevant to the Class 2 role is required.
- At least one year of current driving experience.
- No more than six points on driving license.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and the load is safe before leaving.
- Carry out daily checks in line with company procedure.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
