About the Role

Mitie are seeking a highly motivated Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join our team on a prestigious government contract. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong technical background or for those at the beginning of their career looking to gain valuable, hands‑on experience and knowledge from a supportive team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Emergency Lighting: Inspection, testing, and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Water Hygiene: Carry out water hygiene tasks including temperature monitoring, flushing, and sampling in line with regulations.
  • HVAC Systems: Maintain and troubleshoot heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • BMS (Building Management Systems): Monitor and adjust controls for optimal building performance.
  • Plumbing: Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • General Fabric Works: Undertake minor building fabric repairs and upkeep to maintain site standards.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in a multi‑skilled engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements for emergency lighting and water hygiene.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and BMS controls.
