Job summary
A leading driving agency is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver with ADR certification in Bury St Edmunds. You will be responsible for delivering gas cylinder bottles to various locations. The position offers a pay rate of £16.94 to £33.88, 42.5 guaranteed hours weekly, and opportunities for upskilling. Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply. This seasonal contract runs until May 2026.

Responsibilities
- Deliver gas cylinder bottles to residential and commercial properties.

- Complete a written and driving assessment at interview.

We are looking for Class 2 HGV Driver + ADR (cylinders) to start immediately for our growing client base across the IP postcode.

- £16.94 PAYE basic rate (guaranteed 42.5hrs)
- £25.41 PAYE overtime (after 42.5hrs on weekdays)
- £33.88 PAYE weekend overtime (after 42.5hrs on weekends)
- Up to £2,000 in performance bonuses
- 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE.
- Upskilling to ADR or HIAB after satisfactory probation period.

You will be operating a Class 2 vehicle delivering gas cylinder bottles to commercial and residential premises across the East of England.
This is a seasonal contract running through Christmas up to May 2026 with 42.5 guaranteed hours per week.
Working Monday to Friday on typically 6-7am starts.
Written and driving assessment will take place on interview.
At no cost to you, a basic DBS will be required.
- UK HGV Cat C licence
- Valid CPC & Digicard
- ADR licence (class 2, gases)
- Have no more than 6 effective penalty points
- No DG, DD or IN endorsements
