A leading research institution in Glasgow seeks a skilled Research Associate in Data Science to work on the Cancer Medicines Outcomes Programme funded by the Scottish Government. The role involves linking electronic patient healthcare data for policy and patient decision-making insights. Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent experience and expertise in pharmacoepidemiology, statistics, and R language for data analysis. This part-time position is fixed-term until March 31, 2027.
The postholder will work on: the Scottish Government funded Cancer Medicines Outcomes Programme-Public Health Scotland, specifically on linking routine electronic patient healthcare data to report on the use and impact of cancer medicines in Scotland; and other projects in applied pharmacoepidemiology using national data in Public Health Scotland.
FTE: 0.6 (21 hours/week)
