Microsoft AI Solutions Architect / Senior Solutions Consultant (Hiring for a Leading Consulting Firm)

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global consulting firm recognised for delivering inventive, data-driven transformation. Their teams blend strategic, creative and scientific capabilities to help organisations solve complex business challenges and build the next generation of intelligent solutions.

They are expanding their Microsoft AI advisory practice and are seeking an experienced Microsoft AI Solutions Consultant to help design and lead cutting-edge AI-driven solutions using the Microsoft ecosystem.

📍 Location : Mostly remote (UK), with ad-hoc travel to London, Manchester or Glasgow depending on where you are based. All client travel is expensed.

In this senior role, you will lead the design, strategy and adoption of Microsoft-based AI solutions for enterprise clients. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and high-performing AI products.

• Lead end-to-end design of AI-driven business solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Translate business challenges into scalable, secure and high-performing solution architectures.
• Collaborate with clients, technical teams and Microsoft to define solution roadmaps.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data governance and security best practices.

• Act as a subject matter expert across Microsoft AI offerings including Azure OpenAI , Copilot Studio and Power Platform AI Builder .
• Advise clients on selecting and adopting the right Microsoft AI tools.
• Stay ahead of Microsoft product updates and roadmap developments to identify innovation opportunities.
• Lead product demos, workshops, proofs-of-concept and evangelise solution value.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping AI strategy and vision.
• Support pre-sales work including proposals, solutioning and client presentations.
• Oversee delivery quality to ensure solutions meet business and technical objectives.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants within the Microsoft practice.

• Champion high-quality standards, setting design principles and best practices.
• Proactively ensure team capacity, skills readiness and effective resource planning.
• Contribute to practice operations, recruitment, knowledge sharing and team initiatives.
• Complete operational activities accurately and on time to support smooth delivery.
• Advocate for the growth of the Microsoft practice and wider capability community.

• 8+ years’ experience in consulting, product, or technical Microsoft advisory roles.
• Proven track record designing and delivering AI or data solutions on the Microsoft stack.
• Strong understanding of Azure AI services, Power Platform, and Microsoft Co-pilot capabilities.
• Skilled at bridging business and technical domains with excellent communication skills.
• Functional expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies, business processes and enterprise deployments.
• Innovative thinker able to design solutions for complex technical and business challenges.

• Strong client and partner relationship management skills focused on value and outcomes.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams, supporting both performance and development.
• Confident delivering hybrid (in-person & virtual) presentations to senior technology and business leaders.

• Degree (MSc, MBA or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance or related.
• Microsoft certifications across M365, Dynamics 5, Power Platform, Copilot, SharePoint, Azure, Fabric .
• Product, solutions or delivery certifications (e.g. TOGAF, SAFe, Agile) desirable.
• UK Government Security Clearance (SC) preferred but not essential.
