An international optics leader is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Global Commercial Function. This individual will lead strategic projects within the ZEISS EyeCare Network, aiming to support vision health worldwide. The ideal candidate has a university degree, relevant project management certification, and at least 3 years of international project management experience, particularly in healthcare. Carl Zeiss Vision International are recruiting a Senior Project Manager to work within the Global Commercial Function. The Project Management team support the Global Commercial Function across the respective portfolios, with the initial demand for this position within the ZEISS EyeCare Network Team, who are conducting a collaborative programme with ZEISS Meditec to enable a holistic vision care journey throughout an individual’s lifetime across all country markets within the Vision and Meditec businesses.
The projects in this programme are strategic, and therefore have a high business impact and visibility at board level. As a result, we are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager with international project experience throughout a project’s lifecycle.
This role involves supporting the execution and implementation of ZEISS EyeCare Network programme. The incumbent will play a critical role in ensuring the programme meets its goal to “protect and improve the vision and lifetime visual health of the world’s consumers.”
University degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
Widely recognised project and / or programme management certification
Minimum 3 years’ experience in international project management, ideally within healthcare or the optical / eye health sector
Proven track record of launching and managing healthcare projects, programmes, or products
Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. medical devices) is advantageous
Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams across functions such as marketing, sales, R&D, and clinical
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and external partners
Strong project management, planning, and organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly
Fluent written and spoken English
Experience working in global, remote, and hybrid team environments
