A leading manufacturer in Wrexham is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join the team on an interim basis. You will manage New Product Introduction activities and support NADCAP approvals, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong background in AS9001 and quality assurance management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This role demands experience in a fast-paced precision engineering environment.
Qualifications
- Experienced Quality Engineer with knowledge of AS9001 and NADCAP.
- Experience in a fast-paced precision engineering environment.
- Excellent understanding of quality assurance management principles.
Responsabilités
- Develop quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Support New Product Introduction and NADCAP processes.
Connaissances
Due to urgent new project awards, a leading manufacturer supplying the Aerospace & Defence sectors is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join the team on an interim basis. Working closely with the Group Quality Manager, you will play a key role in managing New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and supporting NADCAP approvals to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement and improve quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
- Support New Product Introduction.
- Take lead on NADCAP processes, approvals and upcoming audit.
- Work closely with engineering & production to improve product quality to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Support New Product Introduction and Advance Product Quality Planning.
- Uphold processes that ensure health, safety and environmental best practices.
- An experienced Quality Engineer with a good understanding of AS9001 and NADCAP.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced precision engineering environment.
- Excellent understanding of quality assurance management principles and practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A good understand of quality control standards and methodologies.
