Qualifications

• Experience with NCR (Non-Conformance Report) generation and management.
• Strong practical problem-solving skills with relevant methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and continuously improve project quality management.
• Ensure that projects meet contractual specifications and business processes.
• Conduct supplier surveillance and manage quality oversight.

Skills

Knowledge of ISO 9001

Experience with NCR management

Strong practical problem-solving skills

EMBS Engineering is partnering with a leading precision engineering manufacturer in the West Midlands to find a Project Quality Engineer. This company is a well‑established entity in the precision engineering industry with a history of supplying safety‑critical, highly complex components to globally recognised customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and continuously improve project quality management and control.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual specifications and business processes.
• Tendering and Project Kick‑off.
• Reviewing client specifications and producing Project Quality Plans.
• Reviewing and approving MITPs (Manufacturing Inspection and Test Plans).
• Flowing down client quality requirements to functions and suppliers.
• Managing client non‑conformance issues.
• Supporting project and client meetings.
• Conducting supplier surveillance and managing quality oversight activities within the supply chain.

What you'll bring

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, EN 3834, and EN 1090.
• Experience with NCR (Non‑Conformance Report) generation and management.
• Strong practical problem‑solving skills, with experience in methodologies like 8D, Six Sigma, 5S, or 7W.
