Due to urgent new project awards, a leading manufacturer supplying the Aerospace & Defence sectors is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join the team on an interim basis. Working closely with the Group Quality Manager, you will play a key role in managing New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and supporting NADCAP approvals to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

The Role

• Develop, implement and improve quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
• Support New Product Introduction.
• Take lead on NADCAP processes, approvals and upcoming audit.
• Work closely with engineering & production to improve product quality to ensure the highest quality standards.
• Support New Product Introduction and Advance Product Quality Planning.
• Uphold processes that ensure health, safety and environmental best practices.

The Person

• An experienced Quality Engineer with a good understanding of AS9001 and NADCAP.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced precision engineering environment.
• Excellent understanding of quality assurance management principles and practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A good understand of quality control standards and methodologies.
