This role is ideal for someone starting their career in IT who enjoys problem-solving, helping people, and learning how technology supports an organisation day to day. You’ll gain hands‑on experience while working towards a recognised IT apprenticeship qualification, supported by experienced colleagues and formal training.

Our specialist Care Teams can support them and their family living throughout illness, death and bereavement in the comfort of their own home and through our hospice services, Fair Havens and Little Havens.

- Provide first‑line IT support to users via desk‑side, phone, and email.
- Log, prioritise, and resolve IT issues using a ticketing system.
- Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Assist with user account management (e.g. Microsoft 365 / Active Directory / Entra ID).
- Support common software such as Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook.
- Help maintain IT documentation and asset registers.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
- Follow IT policies, security procedures, and data protection requirements.
- Learn and assist with basic networking, security, and device management tasks.
- Provide friendly, clear communication to non‑technical users.
