Job summary
A local employment agency is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the Working Denbighshire Programme. This position involves managing the development and implementation of employability and skills support services across Denbighshire. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, project management experience, and proficiency in data analysis. This temporary role requires flexibility in travel across North Wales, with a pay rate of £24.46 per hour. This position is full-time and offers a competitive hourly rate.

- Lead the development and implementation of employability and skills support services.
- Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to identify service gaps.

- Build and maintain relationships with service providers and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with funding requirements and seek additional funding opportunities.
- Establish key performance indicators and evaluate service effectiveness.
- Lead and manage a team to achieve strategic objectives.
- Work flexibly across Denbighshire, including travel as needed.
- Degree or equivalent in project and programme management, public administration, or related field.
- Experience in commissioning and delivering project/programme management.
- Proficiency in project management and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of management and compliance with funding requirements.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Ability to travel across North Wales.
- PRINCE2 or ILM Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
- Experience in public sector procurement practices.
- Knowledge of recent government employability and skills initiatives.
- Welsh Language skills at Level 2 or higher.
