Working Denbighshire Programme Manager

Location: East Parade, Rhyl, LL18 3AH

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 2+ Months

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Pay Rate: £ 24.46 Per Hour

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of employability and skills support services.
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to identify service gaps.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for project delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with service providers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with funding requirements and seek additional funding opportunities.
  • Establish key performance indicators and evaluate service effectiveness.
  • Lead and manage a team to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Work flexibly across Denbighshire, including travel as needed.
Person Specifications
Must Have
  • Degree or equivalent in project and programme management, public administration, or related field.
  • Experience in commissioning and delivering project/programme management.
  • Proficiency in project management and data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of management and compliance with funding requirements.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to travel across North Wales.
Nice to Have
  • PRINCE2 or ILM Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
  • Experience in public sector procurement practices.
  • Knowledge of recent government employability and skills initiatives.
  • Welsh Language skills at Level 2 or higher.
