A leading logistics provider in Worksop is seeking a Transport Planner to manage and improve transport network efficiency. Responsibilities include delivering network transport plans, ensuring KPI compliance, and using planning software. - Previous experience in route planning across a Transport Network of different sites and customers is essential.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are essential.
- Must be able to work well under pressure, whilst meeting strict deadlines.

- Ensuring that network KPI's are met and customer SLA's are exceeded.
- Use of ConnectTMS - building loads, creating routes and allocating vehicles within planning deadlines.

Pay Rate: £34,850.00 + 10% night shift premium (total combined is £38,335.00). Grade: RCS M. Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time). Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off Night Shift 7pm - 7am. Location: S80 3EG - Worksop
- Responsible for the delivery of efficient and profitable network transport plans.
- Ensuring that network KPI's are met and customer SLA's are exceeded.
- Use of ConnectTMS - a bespoke software, building loads, creating routes and allocating vehicles within planning deadlines.
- Ensuring continuous improvement of the transport network, increasing customer satisfaction and improving the cost effectiveness of transport and planned routes.
- Working with a range of departments and people at different levels in transport, warehouse, as well as end point customers and DHL customers.
- Previous experience in route planning across a Transport Network of different sites and customers is essential
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are essential
- Must be able to work well under pressure, whilst meeting strict deadlines
- Strong IT skills are essential, using Microsoft Office and Teams. Previous experience of planning systems is advantageous
